The Town of Fairview is a prime location for development, with suitable sub-divisions, adequate water, roads and sewers; all the infra-structure requirements for well planned successful economic development. ATCO provides Fairview’s natural gas and electricity.

Fairview’s water is pumped from the Peace River into town reservoirs. With plenty of reserve capacity, Fairview has a high quality water supply for residential, commercial and/or industrial use. In addition to the potential for recreational opportunities afforded by the Peace River, future hydro electric power generation stands to create further economic development.

With airports to the south in Grande Prairie, east in Peace River and west in Fort St. John handling commercial jet traffic, Fairview’s municipal airport on the west edge of town offers convenience and no congestion to non-scheduled and emergency flights.

Fairview is “The Heart of the Peace”; a strategic location for being the service centre for agriculture, oil & gas sector and commercial retailers. Please view our Business Directory to have a complete list of our business community.
