Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber has been involved with Fairview and the surrounding area since its earliest decades of the communities’ history. In the 1930-1940's the organization worked with the present partners the MD and the Town of Fairview on two major developments, which saw the building of several sports facilities and an airport for the community.
We have honored small business throughout the years, as well as organizing customer appreciation programs, business mixers and shopping local campaigns. Moonlight Madness, the Santa Claus & Rodeo Parade, and Small Business Week activities are all sponsored by our chamber.
The Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce continues to represent the voice of businesses to the three levels of government; municipal, provincial and federal. This is through its close working relationship with the town and MD of Fairview, membership with the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, and our membership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
For decades the chamber has played a large role in tourism by managing the Visitor Information Centre, producing informative brochures for the community, historic sites and events.
Membership fees are paid annually and are based upon the number of full-time employees in a business. This fee structure ranges from $130 to $250.
