Pound Rescue

Any animals picked up by the Animal Control Officer can collected from the animal shelter upon completion of paper work. The animal shelter is located in the public works compound on 108 Ave, Fairview. If your pet has gone missing please call the Town Office during regular business hours, or the Animal Control Officer during off hours.

If pets are not licenced, we have no means of identifying the owners. Any animal with no licence is then available for adoption. If an animal remains unclaimed after 72 hours, and no adoption has taken place, the animal may be transfered to the Peace River SPCA or may be euthanized. Please help us keep pets out of the pound.
IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOUR PETS WEAR IDENTIFICATION.
Any dog or cat over three months old must be licensed.

Impound Fees

Medical Fees:                                                 full fee to the owner of the animal for any medical
                                                                          costs incurred
Transportation of Animal Fee:                    $50.00/trip

Adoption Fees
The impound fees plus the licence fee.
