Our FCSS Vision
The vision of Fairview Family and Community Support Services is to build strong communities through positive, caring interaction and mutual respect.
Our programs provide preventative social programming by:
- Promoting the social development of children and their families.
- Strengthening family life by developing personal skills to function more effectively in their environment.
- Enhancing the life of the retired and semi-retired.
- Promoting, encouraging and supporting volunteer work in the community.
- Informing the pubic of available services in the community.
Fairview FCSS Believes:
A community’s most valuable resources are its people.
Investments made in supporting people pay dividends in all areas of community life.
The Fairview and District F.C.S.S board meets every third Monday at 10.00am.
Family and Community Resource Centre Library
The Family & Community Resource Centre (FCRC) Library has books, videos and DVD's to lend to the community free of charge. The focus is on prevention, education and wellness. The library is located in the FCSS office 10316-109 St. (within the Safety and Audits building across from the arena).
