As part of the Alberta Relaunch, Alberta Health has strongly recommended wearing masks/face coverings when going out to public locations where you may end up close to other people. This includes grocery shopping, personal services and the post office, among others. Wearing a mask is important even if you don’t feel sick, as COVID-19 is asymptomatic (meaning you don’t feel sick) for some people and for the first few days for almost everyone. Wearing a mask doesn’t do very much to protect you, but it can protect others from you, which is why we all have to work together.
