E.E. Oliver Community Hall Booking Information

To book the E.E.O. Hall, visit the Town Office or call 780-835-5461. A refundable deposit will be required at time of booking and will be equal to the total facility/chair/table rental or $100 – whichever is greater.


Rates

Schools

EEO, FHS, STM Sports Tournaments and other school functions:

  • Schools will be charged for weekend sports tournaments at a rate of $150.00. Rate includes: full gym and kitchen facilities
  • EEO will not be charged for non-sport tournament activities
  • Schools other than EEO will pay the Youth Community Function rate for all non-sport tournament activities

Committees

Any rentals from the Town, M.D. or EEO School committees.

  • No charge for the rental of the gym or ancillary room
  • Kitchen Use: light lunch $50.00 / Banquet $100.00 / Bar $50.00

Community Organizations

Any local group whose primary objective and efforts are to benefit the community, regardless of function; this includes functions under the Joint Use of Facilities Agreement. These prices also include any youth groups or youth functions.

Youth Community Function

A community function where the participants are all under the age of 18. Adults involved are in a supervisory capacity such as coach, chaperone or leader.

  • $10.00 / hour rental fee for the full gym & stage
  • $10.00 / hour for use of the ancillary room
  • Kitchen Use – Light Lunch $50.00 / Banquet $100.00

Non-Youth Community Organizations

  • $30.00 / hour for use of full gym – including stage
  • $15.00 / hour for use of half gym – does not include stage
  • Kitchen Use: Light Lunch $50.00 / Banquet $100.00
  • $50.00 for use of bar
  • $15.00 / hour for use of the ancillary room
  • $15.00 / hour for use of stage

Commercial or Private

Firms located inside the MD/Town boundaries (includes political rallies, birthdays and private aerobics classes, etc.)

  • $50.00 / hour for use of full gym – including stage
  • $70.00 / hour for use of the full gym for out of MD/Town or profit organization
  • $450/day for full use of facility including bar and kitchen
  • Kitchen use: light lunch $50.00 / Banquet $100.00
  • $15.00 / hour for use of the ancillary room
  • $15.00 / hour for use of stage

Weekend Rate

A flat rate of $850.00 inclusive for 20 total hours will be charged for all weekend bookings. The 20 hours will include the set-up, function, clean up and if required, gift opening. This includes the use of the kitchen facilities and the bar.

Any time used above and beyond will be charged at the Commercial Private rate of $50.00 / hour. Any time not used will not be reimbursed.

Conventions

The normal rental rate of Committees, Community Organizations or Commercial, whichever applies, will be charged plus $250 / day.

Tables & Chairs

  • $1.00/chair - $100.00 deposit must be paid at the time of booking (450 chairs available)
  • $5.00/table - $100 deposit must be paid at the time of booking (15 rectangular tables 2'x6' available)
  • Tables can fit 8 around them and use a 72" x 72" tablecloth
  • Renters are responsible for providing their own tablecloths, please contact Dunvegan Inn to inquire about rental of tablecloths
  • Round tables are not available for rent

Booking and Refund Procedure

Deposit paid is for cleanup, any damage and booking which must be equal to the booking fee or $100 - whichever is greater.

  1. Full deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
  2. A booking fee must be paid 30 days prior to booking or time will be made available to another group. If time is booked by another, the deposit will be returned less %10 administrative fee.
  3. If the booking is made with less than 30 days to requested booking date, then all deposits and fees must be paid at the time of booking.

Refunds

If a booking is cancelled then the following procedure will be followed for refunds:

  • If cancelled with greater than 30 days notice there will be a full refund less 10% of booking costs.
  • If cancelled with less than 30 days notice but more than 7 days, there will be a 50% refund of booking costs.
  • If cancelled with less than 7 days notice, there will be no refund of booking costs.
