Councillor

Chris Laue was born and raised in Edmonton. After completing his Automotive Mechanic Apprenticeship, he returned to the University of Alberta and earned a Bachelor of Education in Vocational Education. He began his teaching career at Leduc Composite High School before relocating to Fairview in 1987 to instruct at Fairview College. Over his career, Chris held numerous instructional and administrative roles, retiring in 2020.

Active in a variety of local organizations, Chris has developed a deep understanding of the community’s needs. He believes Fairview is an excellent place to raise a family and remains committed to fostering a vibrant, thriving community. As Councillor, he continues to support initiatives that benefit both businesses and residents, helping Fairview grow and prosper.
