Settle in to play (or watch) a game on the baseball or soccer fields or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the scenic Cummings Lake Walking Trail. Head next door to the Fairview Pioneer Museum and brush up on local history, or rent a canoe from the nearby Cummings Lake Campground and enjoy an afternoon on the water. Enjoy the serenity and calm of nature along the Cummings Lake Walking Trail that connects Cummings Lake, the Fairview Golf Course, and the Town of Fairview. The system consists of eleven kilometres of paved and graveled trails in several loops that travel around the golf course, the reservoirs, Cummings Lake Campground, and, of course, Cummings Lake itself. Embark on some relaxing fun on the water! Access the Peace River through boat launches at Dunvegan (fifteen minutes southwest on Highway 2) or Pratt’s Landing (thirty minutes west on Highway 682), or enjoy an afternoon of motorized or non-motorized boating on Cummings Lake (two minutes north on Highway 732). Tee up on the nine pristinely conditioned fairways of the Fairview Golf Club and play a round or two in a little piece of Peace Country paradise.
