NewsAre you a painter? A knitter? Do you bead, quilt, or sculpt? Maybe building Lego sets is your thing! Bring your current project to work on while enjoying the company of other crafters and builders in the scenic Peace River valley. We'll take a tour of our historic buildings to explore the crafts that were created over 100 years ago! If you’re looking to try something new, we’ll have a variety of crafting materials including yarn, crochet hooks, yarn needles, beads, paints, etc. An additional small fee may apply for some materials.
Participation is $2/person. All ages are welcome!

Celebrate the end of summer at one of Fairview's biggest community events!
Join us on Saturday, August 22 for a full day of family fun, live entertainment, local vendors, delicious food, and activities for all ages. From the parade and Peace Classic Wheels Street Spectacular to free inflatables, a farmers' market, live music on two stages, food trucks, face painting, and interactive activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Cap off the day with the Street Dance and Beer Gardens featuring the Steve Cassell Band.
While you're downtown, be sure to stop by the Festival Information Booth in front of Rexall Pharmacy for event information, festival stickers and tattoos, and your chance to enter to win great local prizes—including a Blackstone 36" Griddle with accessories, generously donated by ATCO.
Bring your family, invite your friends, and spend the day celebrating everything that makes Fairview a great place to live, work, and play. We can't wait to see you there!

You’ve played Dunvegan’s popular fur trade role playing game on school trips, now you can challenge your family and friends to negotiate the best deal during our Fur Trade Fun afternoon. Individuals or teams can join in on the Trappers and Traders game, Capture the Furs, and voyageur relay races.
