The Town of Fairview Public Works department is seeking a Public Works Summer Student.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Public Works Summer Student is involved in the day-to-day operation of the public works department.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Capacity to work well individually, and in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks outdoors.

Additional Notes

Workweek:

Based on 40 hrs/week; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays, with some evenings and/or weekends required for emergencies.
