Municipal elections are held every four years, during which residents elect a Mayor and six Councillors to serve four-year terms.
Council members are elected at-large, meaning both the Mayor and Councillors represent the entire population of the Town of Fairview.
At the close of Nomination Day September 22, 2025, the number of candidates nominated for Chief Elected Official - Mayor is the same as the number required to be elected, therefore the Returning Officer shall declare the candidate to be acclaimed to the office for which there were nominated.

At the close of Election Day October 20, 2025, the following candidates nominated for Councillor will be appointed to the office of Councillor.

Registration is required in Municipal Elections as of 2025.
