The purpose of the Robert E. Walter Memorial Scholarship is to financially assist persons from the North Peace and Mackenzie regions taking post secondary programs who plan to utilize their education in a career based in the North Peace or Mackenzie regions of northern Alberta.

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN

Persons owning property in the town of Fairview wishing to pay their current 2022 property taxes by monthly installments under the Town’s Preauthorized Tax Installment Payment Plan may do so by making arrangements at the Town Office by January 9th, 2022.  Further information pertaining to new participants for the plan, contact the Town Office by calling 780-835-5461, emailing taxes@fairview.ca or stop by the office.

Outstanding Property Taxes are due on December 31, 2021

If payment is not received by December 31, 2021 a 15% penalty will be assessed to the outstanding balance on January 1st, 2022. 

Payment may be made at the office, through the banks, by internet or telephone banking, by mail or cheques can be dropped off in the drop off box located at the west entrance to the Provincial building. For information on taxation matters, contact the Town Office.

1073/AC/2021 Bylaw

The wildlife feeding bylaw 1073/AC/2021 passed thrid reading at the October 5, 2021 council meeting.

For all bylaw concerns please contact bylaw enforcement at 780-835-1063.

Town of Fairview Animal Enfocement will be working closely with the Fairview Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Branch with concerns pertaining to this new bylaw. We ask residents to direct concerns regarding this bylaw to the bylaw enforcement deparment (780-835-1063) and not directly to the Fairview Fish and Wildlife branch, as the Town of Fairview bylaw will process the concern swiftly involving Fish and Wildlife officers only when required.
